The Vineyard House overlooks the serene landscape of Daveste Vineyards, a winery nestled in the rolling countryside of the Troutman Community. Ester DeFehr founded the Group in 2004. Today there are 12 members, Ester, Peggy Jones, Sherry DeFazio, Sasha Schwendener, Nancy Whalley, Debbie Remmel, Nancy Newton, Mila Morris, Nell Landers, Mira Blanchard, Shirley Ballard and Susan Damico.

Deb took art lessons at the MAG Depot Fine Arts Gallery about a year ago, and studied pastel under Sylvia Spong.  The cheerful brightness of pastels and the friendships of the teacher and students made the Depot a welcoming spot to further develop her talent.

Multicolored Floral

The opening reception will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 6 – 8 pm.  Artists, their families and friends are encouraged to attend. The general public is also invited to attend. The show will remain on display at the Depot throughout the month of November.
